Johannesburg: Former South African cricket captain Faf Duplessis has retired. Announced retirement from international Test cricket. Duplessis announced his retirement from cricket on Instagram.

He made his Duplessis Test debut in November 2012 against Australia in Adelaide. The last match was against Pakistan in Rawalpindi. Duplessis scored just 55 runs in the final Test. He has scored 4163 runs in Tests, including 10 centuries and 21 fifties. The highest score was 199 against Sri Lanka in December 2020. Duplessis, who captained the team to 36 Tests, led the team to victory 18 times.
