LOS ANGELES (CNA) – Former frontman of the American pop rock group Smash Mouth, Steve Harwell, died today at the age of 56, the manager said. The song “All Star” sung by Harwell during his lifetime was once a smash hit.
Harwell passed away “peacefully and peacefully” this morning at his home in Boise, Idaho, surrounded by family and friends, band manager Robert Hayes said.
Harwell’s cause of death was acute liver failure, Hayes said in a statement.
