Former Russian Prisoners in Assault Company ‘Storm Z’ Escape After Shooting Officer: Still Being Sought

Three former Russian prisoners, mobilized in the assault company “Storm Z”, part of the 291st motorized rifle regiment, refused to carry out an order on the front line, shot their officer, and after being detained managed to escape and are still being sought.

Oleg Mirzoyan, Sergey Lebedev and Vladimir Antokhin were sent to Berdyansk together with their company. They refused to comply with the commander’s order because of their “small chances of survival”, then tried to leave their fighting position, withTelegram channel “The Spy’s Dossier” reports. When their lieutenant Pavel Starshakov and two other soldiers tried to prevent them, the three pointed their weapons at them and inflicted “multiple gunshot wounds incompatible with life”, the channel quoted its source.
