The publication estimates the fortune of Anisimov, a former partner of Russian Alisher Usmanov, at $1.6 billion.

The documents that Anisimov showed to Forbes indicate that he got rid of Russian citizenship back in September 2022. He now holds citizenship of the Dominican Republic (obtained in the mid-1990s) and Croatia (since October 2003).
