Due to the result of Ahn Chul-soo’s absorption of a large number of supporters, the point of observation for the entire generation has shifted from the heart to the heart
Na Kyung-won, amidst Kim-An’s active courtship intention, made public today after four days of not running
(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Hong Ji-in = People’s Power Party runners hold the 3/8 National Convention Na Kyung-won, a former lawmaker who announced that he would not runNa is drawing attention once again as she scrambles to court.
This is because taking the support tax for me or former lawmakers in the party convention race with 40 days left can be decisive in winning the race.
In the first place, the party’s race, where the orientation of ‘Yoon Shim’ (尹心, President Yoon Seok-yeol’s intentions) was the biggest topic, seems to be changing into a contest for ‘Nasim’ (羅心, former lawmakers’ intentions).
The importance of the direction of votes in support of former lawmaker Na was well shown in a public opinion poll conducted after the non-run (25th).
As a result of Realmeter’s survey on 1,099 adult men and women nationwide (422 people’s strength supporters) on the 25th and 26th of this month, commissioned by Media Tribune, the approval rating of Rep. It decreased by percentage point (p), but in the case of Congressman Cheol-soo Ahn, it increased by 16.7%p to 33.9%. It is a close encounter within the margin of error.
In the previous survey, the approval rating for former lawmaker Na was 25.3%, so arithmetically, about two-thirds of the support tax for former lawmaker Na went to Rep. Ahn after the declaration not to run.
This survey (see the website of the National Election Opinion Survey Deliberation Committee for details) has a sampling error of ±3.1%p (±4.8%p of the people’s strength support group) at the 95% confidence level.
Rep. Ahn, who has shared the banner of ‘representation of the metropolitan area’ with former lawmaker Na, is sending a relatively active love call.
Rep. Ahn recently sent a message suggesting a meeting while consoling former lawmaker Na for his decision not to run, and said he received a reply saying, “Please give me a little time.”
On the 27th, he met with reporters and said, “I’m thinking of waiting a little and then contacting you again.”
Rep. Yoon Sang-hyun, who is also evaluated as a partner of ‘loose solidarity’ with Rep. Ahn by advocating the ‘representational theory of the metropolitan area’, also praised me, saying, “(In the general election next year), I should invite former lawmakers as co-chairs of the ‘Metropolitan Seondae Committee’.” .
In a situation where Rep. Ahn has been chasing down the chin, Rep. Kim is also sending a’solidarity message’ to former Rep. Na every day.
Rep. Kim is receiving absolute support from the pro-Yun faction (Pro-Yun Seok-Yeol), who strongly pressed Na not to run for Congress.
He said at the launch ceremony for the integration of the metropolitan area held in Bucheon the day before, “We will go out in a single rank by scrumming and harmonizing with all forces and figures in the party.”
At the same time, he also gave an explanation, saying, “(I) have never pressured a former lawmaker not to run for the national convention.”
The former lawmaker has not expressed any particular position.
When he announced that he would not run, he drew a line in support of a specific candidate, saying, “There is no space for me to play any role in the future.”
However, there are not a few perspectives that predict the role in any form during the remaining period until the previous generation.
He is said to have said, “This is not the end” at a luncheon with his aides after declaring that he would not run. In the midst of this, he will have a luncheon with the reporters in charge on the 29th and go public after four days of declaring that he will not run.
As a former lawmaker who gave up his challenge to the party due to pro-Yun faction pressure, he may worry that he will cross the ‘river of no return’ as he joins hands with Congressman Ahn, completely turning his back on the party mainstream.
Ahead of next year’s general election, there is a prospect that he will eventually lean toward Congressman Kim considering his relationship with President Yoon, but there are also counterarguments that it is not an easy option considering the ‘remnants’ of emotions accumulated in the process of giving up party power.
A party official said in a phone call, “It seems that the theory of sympathy for former lawmakers is heading towards Congressman Ahn, but it is unknown whether it will last until the previous generation.”
