Thomas Cafferkey, a native of Cashel, Achill, Co. Mayo, passed away unexpectedly at Warrington Hospital in the UK on February 5th, 2023. Prior to his passing, he was a resident at Ryefields Village in Arena Garden, Warrington. He is survived by his brothers John Patrick, Danny, Eneas, Michael (Achill), Tony (Wales), and his sister Bridgie Ann (Achill), as well as his niece Karen. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Catherine, and his brother Joseph.
A chapel of rest has been arranged for Thomas at Co-op Funeral Care on Bewsey Road in Warrington from 4 pm until 5 pm on Monday, March 20th. His funeral mass will take place the following day, Tuesday, March 21st at the Church of St. Alban’s, The Priory, located at 93 Bewsey Street, Warrington, beginning at 9:30 am.
Thomas will be deeply missed by his surviving family members, as well as his nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. At this time, there is no current information regarding his repatriation to Ireland. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
