Shayene “shAy“Victorio, a former professional player on Counter-Strike, has just been sentenced by Brazilian justice to 116 years in prison. The young woman intends to appeal.

Shayene “shAy” Victorio was a professional player on Conter-Strike 1.6 as well as CS: GO for teams like PaiN Gaming, MIBR or Vivo Keyd before retiring in 2019. She then reconverted as an influencer .

according to UOL, the young woman was convicted at first instance for embezzlement of an online store which she helped manage from 2013 to 2017.

The Brazilian justice system demanded a sentence of 116 years in prison and a fine for defrauding nearly 100 people. Indeed, a large number of orders would not have been fulfilled, which it would have justified at the time by losses or damage to goods.

ShAy denied the accusations. She also said that the company was owned by her former partner, her former boyfriend, and that at the end of their relationship, he had taken full responsibility for their business.

The young woman, who has not yet been arrested, appealed, knowing that in Brazil you cannot serve a sentence of more than 30 years.

shAy proclaims his innocence

shAy spoke today on Twitter to proclaim her innocence and warn her community that she would move away from social networks a bit.

I will move away from social networks, delete the application and take care of my psychological health. People have no idea what harm the words they use can do without even being aware of the fight we are waging. As for this fight, I’m not one to give up. I have the opportunity to defend myself and we are all innocent until proven guilty (…)! When all this is finished, I will tell you how I came out and I will tell you about the woman I have become (…).

Case to follow.
