Former princess of Qatar found dead in Spain – Society – tsn.ua

In the Spanish city of Marbella, the police found the former princess of Qatar, 45-year-old Casia Gallanio, dead. She is a native of Los Angeles with Polish roots.

French newspaper The Parisian reported that there were no signs of physical abuse on her body, and the investigation showed that she could have died from a drug overdose. But her friends don’t believe it. They claim that Gallanio was an opponent of alcohol and illegal substances.

In 2004, Kasia married the uncle of the Emir of Qatar and a former minister, Abdelaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani. She was his third wife.

After the divorce, Gallanio fought for custody of her three daughters for 15 years. She accused her husband of sexually assaulting one of them. Kasia was denied custody, allegedly due to her struggles with alcoholism and depression.

She lived alone in Spain in her house. Her children lived with their father in a luxurious mansion in Paris.
