We must think first of all about Bulgaria and believe in its future. This was stated by the former Prime Minister /2001-2005/ Simeon of Saxe-Coburg.

The former Prime Minister commented on the lack of a national debate in these difficult times, in which Bulgaria is close to severe geopolitical conflicts.

“We should be calmer, think first of all about the country and then about political goals,” he said.

According to him, there should be more dialogue and less aggressive attitude. “More faith in the future of Bulgaria and more relationships that rest on Christian values,” Sackskoburggotski urged, quoted by BGNES.

He attended a prayer service for the health of the Bulgarian Patriarch Neophytes in the capital’s “Holy Trinity” church, for the construction of which his father Tsar Boris III gave money. He wished the Bulgarian Patriarch Simeon of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha “with God’s will to recover an hour sooner, and we to look after the interests of Bulgaria”.

On Sunday, prayers for the health of the head of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church were offered throughout the country, in “Holy Trinity” he was offered by Bishop Polykarp of Belogradchik.
