Former President Mauricio Macri sent a letter of condolences to the CEO of Vicentin, Sergio Nardelli, who passed away on Wednesday night due to a heart attack. In the letter, which was read during the funeral, the ex-president addresses the businessman with “affection and respect” and describes him as “passionate about doing, about undertaking, about generating opportunities.”
Although Macri emphasizes that “it was not many times” that they met, in the letter addressed in the first person to Nardelli he assures: “I developed affection and respect for you. I would have liked to have had more time for that to become a deep friendship. “
“I want to say goodbye to someone who is passionate about doing, for undertaking, for creating opportunities for his family, his town and the beautiful community of Avellaneda and Reconquista; capable of conquering the world without fear of innovating and developing new activities,” says the letter from Farewell to the CEO of Vicentin, who died this Wednesday at his home in Reconquista, at the age of 59, victim of a sudden heart attack.

“Your family, your people are going to miss you. Our country needs many with your entrepreneurial spirit to be able to get ahead”, the letter continues, and highlights: “I know of the sadness that overwhelmed you in the face of so many obstacles and especially so much aggression” .
The letter concludes: “From the pain I have, I want to promise you that we Argentines will overcome this moment of confrontation and division and we will make you feel proud from where you are watching us. A big hug and a huge love for your whole family.”
