Poland faces a civil war due to parliamentary elections, ex-President of the Republic Lech Walesa said in an interview with a French magazine Point.
“The situation is serious. I do not exclude the risk of civil war in Poland. Ultimately, people will take to the streets in even greater numbers. I’m even afraid that they will use weapons,” said the former head of the country.
Parliamentary elections in Poland will take place on October 15. The main competition for the ruling PiS party is the Civic Coalition, led by former European Council President Donald Tusk.
