Donald Trump believes Judge Tanya Chutkan is not going to give him fair treatment in the case where he is accused of trying to overturn the 2020 election.
– There is no chance that I can get a fair trial with the judge assigned to the ridiculous free speech/fair election case, Trump writes in capital letters on his own social media Truth Social.
Chutkan has previously imposed some of the harshest punishments on those who stormed Congress two and a half years ago.
– We will immediately ask for the dismissal of this judge with a very strong reason, writes Trump.
He also writes that he wants to move the trial out of Washington DC
It has not been reported that he has submitted a formal request to change the judge or place of trial.
