Direct speech: “There is some wording in it that suggests that there will be seven charges. It’s not 100% clear that they are all separate charges, but they mostly stem from the Espionage Act charge.”
Details: The Trusty called the espionage allegations “ludicrous” and added that there are also “several obstruction and perjury charges.”
He said his team did not receive a copy of the indictment, but received a subpoena by email.
The trustee also confirmed that Trump would appear in court on Tuesday, but did not say which lawyers would be present with the former president.
Recall: A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict former US President Donald Trump.
