Trump and the two associates Walt Nauta and Carlos de Oliveira are being prosecuted for several more points in the so-called document case, writes ABC.

The employee Carlos de Oliveira is also charged with lying to the FBI. He is a caretaker at Mar-a-lago, and has not previously been charged in the document case.

The new points become known in one 60 page indictment which was published on Friday night.

31 of 37 indictments relate to the withholding of information about the nation’s defense and security, according to CNN.

In the new indictment, it is said that they allegedly attempted to delete surveillance material from the Trump property Mar-a-Lago, writes Reuters.

It is the summer of 2022 that the attempt was made, writes NBC.

Trump is said to have requested that an employee at Mar-a-Lago delete surveillance images to “prevent the material from being turned over to the federal authorities.

CNN also writes that de Oliveira allegedly lied to the FBI when he replied that he “didn’t see anything” being moved to Mar-a-lago after Trump left the White House.

Trump has denied all charges in the dossier and has pleaded not guilty.

In a new statement, Trump’s press secretary Steven Cheung comments on the news that caretaker de Oliveira is also being prosecuted.

He refers to it as nothing more than a desperate attempt to harass Trump and those around him.

He says special investigator Jack Smith, who is leading the investigation, has no case, but is doing everything for someone other than Donald Trump to run for president against Joe Biden in 2024.

As is well known, former President Donald Trump has announced that he is running as a candidate for the Republicans in the next presidential election.

The new charges may mean that the trial scheduled for May next year will be further delayed, writes NBC.
