Jan de Hoop will be the new columnist of Margaret. He stopped presenting it last year after more than thirty years Breakfast news.
The question of whether he has a weekly column for Margaret wanted to write, caused not only surprise, but also a slight panic, says De Hoop. “Can I do that? I wondered insecurely. Fortunately, my husband Coen gave me a loving push, just like 34 years ago when I was asked by RTL.”
Helene van Santen, editor-in-chief of the magazine, is delighted with the new acquisition. “He fits in perfectly Margaretwhich focuses on happy and healthy aging.”
The presenter retired in June. But he did not stop working completely. De Hoop presents the radio program every Saturday morning Hope on Saturday at Omroep Gelderland. He also teaches presentation courses.
De Hoop’s first column will appear on 22 February.
