“I believe in the coherence of the PSI, I feel that it is in this party that I can contribute. And my hope is that I can grow with the PSI, to continue to consistently support the ideals of the PSI,” Cheryl told the PSI DPP office, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Friday (16/12/2022).
Cheryl says she comes from a very diverse family. This is what she found in PSI and she decided to join PSI.

From her experience as a reporter, there are times when Cheryl feels like she’s not completely solving a case. It was this limitation that led him to enter politics to become part of the policy maker.
“Then after I left the newsroom I got involved as a Jokowi volunteer. From there it was an eye opener for me, that if we want to help more people, we have to dive into the system,” Cheryl said.
On the same occasion, Ketum PSI Giring Ganesha thanked Cheryl. According to Giring, Cheryl’s decision to grow with PSI was the right one.
“Thanks for fighting with the PSI, fighting in politics is a difficult thing, because I come from an artist. But I don’t know why, I am grateful that I joined the PSI,” Giring said.
Subsequently, Cheryl will be assigned as a spokesperson for the PSI. Not only that, this former TV presenter is also slated to become a member of the Indonesian Parliament.
“Cheryl is ready to become a spokesperson and will not only join the DPP but also strive to become a member of the Indonesian Parliament,” said Giring.
