The rape case against former porn star Ron Jeremy is definitely off. The American suffers from “severe dementia” and is therefore unable to stand trial, the Los Angeles court has ruled.
There were dozens of charges against Jeremy, he allegedly assaulted more than 30 women and girls over a period of 20 years. In 12 cases it would have been rape. Initially, Jeremy was charged by four women, but in recent years more charges of sexual abuse have been added. The youngest victim was 15 years old.

At the request of prosecutors and the defense, the mental health of 69-year-old Jeremy was investigated. It turns out that Jeremy has a neurocognitive disorder that is incurable.
The porn actor has been in jail since June 2020 and has always claimed to be innocent. Most likely, Jeremy will be transferred to a hospital. The details will be announced in a hearing, scheduled for February 7.
Since the 1970s, Jeremy has been one of the biggest names in the porn industry, appearing in over 1700 films.
