A man is fatally stabbed in the neck on Staten Island.
According to police sources, it is a former New York City police officer.
The incident occurred yesterday around eight o’clock at night at 25 Elizabeth Street in the St. George sector.
The 37-year-old man had a verbal dispute with an unknown person.
During the fight the suspect stabbed him in the neck.
The victim was taken to Richmond University Hospital where he was certified dead.
There are no arrests so far and authorities are continuing their investigations.
