According to the press service on the Dynamo official website, Vyacheslav Semyonov, the ex-midfielder of Kiev and the mentor of the Dynamo children’s football school, died. He was 74 years old. Until the 75th anniversary, he did not live a few days.

Vyacheslav Semyonov is a graduate of FC Dynamo, where he began to develop his pro career back in 1965. In the period from 1969 to 1972, he played in the colors of the Luhansk Zorya, and after that he returned to the White-Blues. In 1975, he changed his club registration for a season, going to FC Dnepr, and then went back to Zorya. He ended his career at SKA (Kyiv), where, in addition to playing practice, Semyonov also held the position of playing coach.

For the entire time of his playing career, Vyacheslav Semyonov became a 4-time champion of the Soviet Union along with Dynamo Kyiv, and together with Zorya he won gold medals in the championship. In addition, he became the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Munich, which took place in 1972.

After the Ukrainian specialist said goodbye to his playing career, he began to work with children, becoming a children’s coach at the Dynamo football club. He has worked there since 1979.
