Former Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld died in the United States at the age of 89. This was announced by USA Today.
The media referred to a statement from the family of the deceased.
“It simply came to our notice then the news of Donald Rumsfeld’s death, American statesman and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. At age 88, he was surrounded by his family in his beloved Taos, New Mexico, “the statement said.
Donald Rumsfeld was head of the US Pentagon from 1975 to 1977 and from 2001 to 2006.
