“Former Olympique Lyonnais President Jean Michel Aulas Names Cristiano Ronaldo as the GOAT Over Lionel Messi”

For many years, the Argentinian, Lionel Messi, and the Portuguese, Cristiano Ronaldo, have been at the center of all topics of conversation.

The former president of Olympique Lyonnais invited himself into the debate and named the GOAT between the two football legends.

“I really like Messi, he and Cristiano Ronaldo are two phenomena. However, Cristiano Ronaldo is number one. It’s the strongest and the most effective,” he said in an interview with Italian outlet Tuttosport.

Taking advantage of the occasion, Jean Michel Aulas also recalled how he narrowly failed to recruit Cristiano Ronaldo to OL.

“Besides raising Miralem Pjanic (Juve), I was close to being Cristiano Ronaldo’s first president. We met him at a youth tournament in Portugal.

He was 15 or 16 years old and he was already very strong. We tried to buy it from Sporting, but unfortunately we couldn’t. I always have the satisfaction of having seen the beginning of a great story.
