Al-Zayani appeared at the council of businessman Abdul Rahman Al-Otaishan, which was attended by a number of citizens.

He is the dean of Saudi national coaches and one of the pillars of the Saudi sports renaissance. He was presented by Al-Ittifaq Club as a player and then as a coach, and the first Saudi championship was achieved through him when he won the Asian Nations Cup in 1984 in Singapore.
