The extraordinary general meeting of shareholders (EGMS) of PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO) approved changes in the composition of directors and commissioners of the company. In this reorganization, one of them appointed former Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkuham) Yasonna H Laoly as Chief Commissioner.
“The appointment of Yasonna H Laoly as Commissioner President is an important step forward for Siloam in strengthening its legal and regulatory compliance framework. Through decades of experience in public service and academic knowledge, his leadership is expected to bring corporate governance to a higher level,” he said. Siloam’s official statement, Tuesday (26/11/2024).
In addition to Yasonna, the new board of commissioners features prominent global leaders in the health sector such as Toby Hall, as well as strategic visionaries such as Sigit Prasetya and Andy Purwohardono.

SILO also appointed David Utama as Chief Director. Also joining the board of directors are Gabriele Isacco Tironi, Surya Tatang and Richard Kidarsa, who are expected to strengthen Siloam’s strategic planning and growth initiatives.
“Siloam Hospitals is entering a new chapter in innovation and impact. Together, we aim to not only meet, but exceed the expectations of our patients and stakeholders,” said David Utama.
In addition, Siloam retained former board members such as Atiff Gill, Daniel Phua, Kartini Sjahrir, and Benny Haryanto Djie.
“With the guidance of the previous and newly appointed board, the company has simplified processes, increased transparency and implemented a strong strategy to maintain regulatory compliance and optimize operational efficiency, ” he concluded.
