The High Anti-Corruption Court chose the former Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andriy Pivovarsky a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of almost 10 million hryvnias in the case of abuse of power and official position, which caused more than 30 million dollars of damage to the state.

“The court recognized the suspicion as justified and partially granted the petition, applying a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 9,997,900 to the suspect. The defendant must deposit funds to the appropriate account of the High Anti-Corruption Court no later than five days from the date the preventive measure was chosen,” the SAP said. .

Also, the former minister is entrusted with the duty to arrive at the request of the detective, the prosecutor and the court and refrain from communicating with other defendants in the case and witnesses.

In addition, he must inform the detective, the prosecutor or the court about a change in his place of residence and work, travel outside of Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

The term of duty is until May 16 of the current year.

The decision may be appealed to the Appeals Chamber of the VAKS within five days from the date of its announcement.

Recall that the ex-Minister of Infrastructure was suspected of causing damage to the state in the amount of $30 million in February this year. The suspect in this case is his first deputy.
