Former Minister Marzena Małek Vows Legal Action Against TVN Over “Fakty” Material

Marzena Małek, the former Minister of State Funds, commented on Facebook the TVN material “Fakty” about the purchase of biomass by Enea Trading. As the former head of MAP said, the material is “full of innuendo and bad statements aimed at presenting me in a bad light to convince the viewer that I concluded an unfavorable contract and that I broke the law.

In my opinion, this proves that the TVN station is not an independent media, but one that produces material for political purposes, in this case to corrupt me.

TVN will not publish a statement

Marzena Małek pointed out that the station did not broadcast the statement submitted by the former Minister of State Finance before the publication of the material.

The lack of publication proves that it did not fit the preconceived thesis that we are dealing with “another scandal” of the PiS government.

And these are the facts: the contract with Arkan was terminated by Enea Elektrownia Połaniec. I have never sat on the board of the Połaniec Power Plant. I never signed any contract with Arkan

I am not aware of any reports about the findings of the investigation regarding the way in which the fuel supply contracts concluded by Elektroownie Połaniec were implemented.

Will there be a lawsuit?

It doesn’t end there.

It is worth noting that during my work at Enea Trading, great measures were taken to ensure an uninterrupted fuel supply chain for the Połaniec Power Plant, especially during the difficult time of the Covid-19 epidemic. However, it was always Połaniec Power Center that made the final decisions regarding the selection of the contractor, decision, conduct of the contract and its implementation.

In the coming days, a request to correct the material will be submitted to TVN, and the next step will be to file a lawsuit for violation of personal rights.
