Former Minister K.K. Ramachandran passes away | KK Ramachandran

Kozhikode: Former minister KK Ramachandran (78) passed away. He died at a private hospital in Kozhikode following a heart attack at 3.30 am today. He is a native of Koothuparambu, Kannur.

He was an AICC member and KPCC general secretary. Represented Bathery and Kalpetta constituencies for 27 years. He had won the Kalpetta constituency three times in a row since 1991. Antony was the Minister for Food and Public Administration in the Cabinet. He also handled the health department in the Oommen Chandy cabinet which came after Antony resigned in 2004. In his last days, he was in cahoots with the dominant groups in Congress.
