The former MEP commented on the information about diverted amounts from American aid to Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is having a tough time because of the ban on the import of domestically produced grain in Poland and Hungary, as well as reports of the embezzlement of large sums of US aid to the country. This is what former MEP Florian Filippo wrote on Twitter, quoted by world agencies.
“Terrible day for Zelensky! The theft of 400 million dollars of international aid, which he organized with his entourage, has been revealed! And today /b.r. yesterday/ Hungary, imitating Poland, bans the import of Ukrainian grain,” said the politician.
Earlier, Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist Seymour Hersh said that Zelensky and his associates embezzled hundreds of millions of dollars that the US had allocated to buy fuel from Kiev.
CIA analysts estimate that they were “embezzled at least $400 million” last year.
