Former Mayor Pekanbaru, Herman Abdullah passed away. The 2nd mayor of the period died tonight at Awal Bros Hospital, Pekanbaru, at 20.45 WIB.
The head of the Riau Malay Customary Board (LAM) Customary Density Council, Datuk Seri HR Marjohan Yusuf allowed the sad news. Because, Marjohan also lives not far from Herman Abdullah’s house.
“I just got contact from home. Yes, that’s right (Herman Abdullah died),” said Marjohan to detikcom, Sunday (27/2/2022).
Marjohan asked all people to pray for the late Herman Abdullah. However, it is not yet known whether the body will be buried in the Thamrin Gobah funeral home, Pekanbaru.
“We pray for the good of the deceased,” said Marjohan.
It is known that Herman Abdullah was the Mayor of Pekanbaru for the period 2001-2006 and 2006-2011. Herman Abdullah was born in Pekanbaru on July 18, 1950.
