Former National Basketball Association (NBA) Dallas Mavericks player Deson Stevenson put up for auction his championship ring, which he won in the 2011 NBA playoffs.
More than 30 thousand US dollars have already been offered for the ring in the auction, which will take place until June 4. The organizers of the auction point out that the owner of the club, Mark Kuban, paid more than 1.4 million dollars in 2011 for the production of team rings, each consisting of more than 130 diamonds.

The Mavericks beat the Miami Heat 4-2 in the 2011 play-off finals, winning their first and so far only NBA champion title. Stevenson was one of the keys to the team’s success, playing at both ends of the field – in the regular season, the American went home in 54 games, averaging 5.3 points per game and 1.5 rebounds, and averaged 4.5 points in the playoffs.
The 41-year-old Stevenson ended his NBA career in 2013, spending two more seasons with the New Jersey Nets and Atlanta Hawks after winning the championship.
