Former Mass Effect composer and writer enthusiastic about possible TV series: ‘Please provide input’

Earlier this week, it was rumored that a deal is almost over for a Mass Effect series on Amazon Prime. Drew Karpyshyn, lead writer of Mass Effect 1 and 2, is on it Twitter very enthusiastic about it and immediately offers to act as a consultant.

The same goes for Sam Hulick, composer of the Mass Effect trilogy. Hulick indicates under Karpyshyn’s post that they are on the same wavelength. Former BioWare writer David Gaider, who worked at the company from 1999 to 2016, said Thursday fierce criticism of the possible series. According to Gaider, it will be weird to see a protagonist with a completed personality in the series, while in the games this is always done by the player. The rumor itself has not yet been confirmed in any way, so you have to take that with a grain of salt for now.
