PRESENCE Ralf Rangnick in the coaching chair Manchester United continue to be in the spotlight. Moreover, there are a number of people who think that Rangnick’s arrival could have a negative impact on a number of players, one of which is the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo.
This view is even conveyed by former Man United player, Luke Chadwick. He is worried about Cristiano Ronaldo’s future under Ralf Rangnick.
In an exclusive interview with Caught Offside, Luke Chadwick has voiced concerns about Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford. Even so, he still welcomes Rangnick’s arrival in the Man United coaching chair, even though it is only an interim status.
Luke Chadwick thinks it’s hard to see how Ronaldo will fit into Rangnick’s plans. Because Rangnick’s style of play is considered to be less suitable for Ronaldo.

“It’s well documented that with Cristiano Ronaldo in the team, Man United can’t really play that high-pressing style,” Chadwick said, as quoted by Stretty News, Tuesday (30/11/2021).
“It will be interesting to see the ins and outs and whether he will give anyone else a chance. I think that’s the question everyone asks Ronaldo.”

“Obviously, he didn’t start the game against Chelsea, but he wants to play every game, he’s still hungry to score. He wouldn’t be happy with a small part role,” explained Chadwink.
“I’m surprised he didn’t start against Chelsea because it’s a big game. You see Cristiano on the bench and you wonder if it comes from the new manager. If that’s the case, you can’t imagine he’ll last long, because he’s nearing the end of his career and wants to start as much as possible to keep breaking records.”
