Former Makassar Customs Head’s Luxury Cars Seized by KPK

The KPK seized three cars from the former Head of Makassar Customs Andhi Pramono. The three cars are the Hummer, Toyota Roadster and MINI Morris.

“The investigation team found electronic evidence and in separate places found three cars from the Hummer brand, Toyota Roadster and MINI Morris,” said Head of KPK Reporting Unit Ali Firki, Wednesday (7/6/2023).

Ali said the three cars were found when KPK investigators searched Andhi’s house in Batam City, Riau Islands, on Tuesday (6/6). He said the house was located in one of the luxury housing estates in the Batam area.

Ali said the seized car was found in a closed shop. According to him, the cars were allegedly deliberately hidden.

“A closed shop. It is suspected that there was intentional concealment,” he said.

The KPK previously named Andhi Pramono as a suspect in the alleged gratuity case. The KPK suspects Andhi of receiving billions of rupiah in gratuities.

“So far it is estimated that billions of rupiah,” said the Head of KPK Reporting Unit, Ali Fikri, when asked for confirmation, Tuesday (16/5).

Ali said the investigation was still ongoing. He said investigators were still developing the case.
