Former international Xavier Garbajosa was sacked on Monday from the post of Lyon coach after a season enamelled with tensions with his workforce, despite a season ending in third place in the Top 14, announced the Lyon club of rugby.

“This decision must make it possible to guarantee the sports group the necessary serenity”, in the future, underlined the LOU in a press release, specifying that “the current staff will be in charge of the preparation for next season”.
