Bayern star Jerome Boateng apparently got away with the horror on Tuesday: As “TV Upper Franconia” and “Bild” report, the Munich man was involved in a car accident in the morning.
Summer tires instead of winter tires?
Accordingly, the 31-year-old got off the road with his sports car on the A9 and struck a “crash barrier at the Bavarian Vogtland triangle”. According to a police report quoted by the two media, he himself was not harmed – but his car did.

Boateng was reportedly on the way to Munich when his Mercedes started to skid. The presumed reason for the accident on the slippery road: summer and not winter tires were fitted to Boateng’s sports cars. Boateng could now face a fine and a complaint for non-compliance with the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO).
