Former Indonesian General Inaugurates Arum Udumbara Park in Jakarta

Jenderal TNI (Purn) AM Hendropriyono inaugurated Arum Udumbara Park, East Jakarta. In that moment, Hendropriyono invited CT Corp Founder and Chairman Chairul Tanjung (CT) to try out a replica of the Madakaripura waterfall in the park.

Monitoring detikcom, Saturday (28/10/2023) the waterfall replica measures approximately 15 meters high. In the middle, you can see the statue of Patih Gajah Mada proudly.

Invited guests who attended the event were invited to visit the Madakaripura waterfall which is located on the park grounds. At that time Hendropriyono invited Chairul Tanjung accompanied by the Main Director detikcom Abdul Aziz looked at the waterfall. They were also seen taking photos there and continuing to chat.

Also present at the location were former TNI Commander General TNI (Ret.) Andika Perkasa, Basuki Tjhaja Purnama or Ahok, Jimly Asshiddiqie, Secretary General of the PKS DPP Habib Abu Bakar Al Habsyi and other invited guests.

“Together we are commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Youth Pledge. Our aim is to both make the nation’s future generations aware that we are a great nation that was civilized long before Westerners came to the archipelago,” said Hendropriyono at the location, Saturday (28/ 10/2023).

Hendropriyono hopes that the presence of the Arum Udumbara Park can be a reminder of Indonesia as a great nation. The creation of the park was also his dedication to the country in preserving culture and history.

“So that I can serve even more deeply for the nation and state. In short, the presence of every Indonesian in Taman Arum Udumbara is to build eternal awareness that we are a great nation that is united so that it is like the icon of Majapahit which is called Makara, namely strong as an elephant and brave as a lion,” he concluded.
