Nagpur: Former Indian cricketer Prashant Vaidya arrested in check bouncing case. The bounced check was for the purchase of steel from a merchant in Nagpur. When asked for money in return, the cricketer refused to pay. Then the trader approaches the court.
But after Prashant Vaidya did not appear for the hearing, the court issued a non-bailable warrant.
Vaidya, who currently heads the Cricket Development Committee of the Vidarbha Cricket Association, played four ODIs for India in the mid-1990s. Vaidya was a right-arm fast bowler and took 171 wickets in 56 first-class matches in his domestic career.
