A rapper from a male idol group was put on trial on charges of secretly filming about 20 sex scenes with a woman he was in a relationship with.
The Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office indicted Choi, a 27-year-old former idol group member, without detention on charges of filming sex scenes and body parts of A, with whom he was dating, 18 times from July of last year to May of this year.
It is reported that Mr. Choi encouraged Mr. A to wear an eye patch and then secretly filmed the incident using a silent camera app.
According to a social media conversation released by Munhwa Ilbo, when the victim asked, “Why did you do that?” Choi responded, “I think I did it out of foolish curiosity,” and “It hurt my complacent thought that I would only watch it alone.”
At the same time, he said, “I didn’t realize it was such a big mistake, and I’m so sorry for causing you so much trouble,” but the victim complained, saying, “Is that why you asked me to cover your eyes? That’s why you met me.”
Previously, last September, Yongsan Police Station in Seoul sent Mr. Choi, and on the 8th of this month, the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office indicted him without detention on charges of ‘violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes, etc.’
However, it has been reported that it has not been confirmed that Mr. Choi distributed related videos.
In July of last year, he was also accused of filming another woman, B, whom he met at a bar in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, four times, including her lying down in her underwear.
Choi, who held the position of main rapper in the group, is known to have suddenly stopped activities in 2019 due to health reasons and left the entertainment industry.
Victim A said, “Mr. Choi said he wanted to take advantage of his celebrity career and become a BJ on entertainment programs or internet broadcasts.” He also said, “He pretended to apologize after the accusation, but in the end, he was asking for leniency considering his future, which made me even more embarrassed.” It is reported that it was done.
