Former IBM Data Center Burns Down Due to Intruder: Owned by Amsterdam Investment Company Breevast BV

The former IBM data center, which burned down completely on Monday, is owned by the Amsterdam investment company Breevast BV. The project developer has been the owner of the office complex since 2004. The building has been vacant since 2005. In consultation with the municipality of Zoetermeer, the project developer had already installed extra fences and warning signs, but that was not enough to stop intruders.
