Former Hong Kong anchor Lin Zibo and his wife Dong Yanjun married in 2003. However, his beloved wife suffered from a rare cancer “leiomyosarcoma”. Unfortunately, he passed away in October 2020. He suffered the blow of losing his wife and losing his job. In order to fulfill his deceased wife’s last wish, he immigrated to the UK with his children and started to run a YouTube channel. He recently returned to Hong Kong to worship.

Lin Zibo immigrated to Manchester, England with his children in August 2021, and then opened a YouTube channel to share local life, including the experience and difficulties of renting a house, finding a school, and finding a job. According to a report by “Hong Kong 01”, in order to fulfill his deceased wife’s last wish to “raise a pair of children well”, his family of three immigrated for nearly two years. A while ago, he was seen by the public at the Chinese permanent cemetery in Chai Wan, where he and his children paid homage to his deceased wife. With a sad face and tears in his eyes, he caressed the photo on his wife’s ashes.

Afterwards, Lin Zibo admitted that the first thing he did when he returned to Hong Kong was to plead guilty to his wife and ask for forgiveness, because he did not wait for his wife to be buried, so he took the plane and left for the UK. His wife’s funeral was handled by his uncle. It became a knot in his heart that he couldn’t untie. He admitted that he had been uncomfortable for the past two years. This time he returned to Hong Kong, and it was the first time to worship his dead wife. He felt guilty and ashamed.

As for living expenses, Lin Zibo revealed that the income from running a YouTube channel is only enough to pay for water and electricity bills, but fortunately, the cost in the UK is lower than that in Hong Kong, and he hopes to make YouTuber his full-time job in the future.
