The Zurich District Court has convicted Bruno Kräuchi, the former mayor of Hettlingen, for theft of 800,000 francs in cash and gold coins, Covid credit fraud, mismanagement and forgery of documents. It punished him with an unconditional prison sentence of three and a half years. He also receives a conditional fine of 120 to 250 francs (equivalent to 30,000 francs).
