TABASCO.- Pedro Jiménez León, former head of the Secretariat of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Development (Sedafop), was summoned to appear by the Secretariat of Public Function due to the investigation initiated by the forgiveness of a loan of 30 million pesos that was made to the Regional Livestock Union of Tabasco (UGRT) in 2013.
It was through the Official State Newspaper that the former nuñista official was given notice that he had committed a serious administrative offense; the edict ran by the general director of administrative responsibilities of the Secretariat of Public Function of Tabasco, Sergio de la Cruz Gómez.
Within what was published, Pedro Jiménez León failed to comply with article 57 of the General Law of Administrative Responsibilities, which dictates: “The public servant who exercises powers that are not conferred or uses those that he has, will incur in abuse of functions, to perform or induce arbitrary acts or omissions, to generate a benefit for themselves or for the persons referred to in article 52 of this Law or to cause harm to any person or to the public service”.

The foregoing, after ruling that Jiménez León, as Secretary of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Development, currently Secretary of Agricultural Development. Forestry and Fisheries, did not have the power to affect or modify the deadlines established and recorded in the budget item/4311 called “Support for the agricultural, fishing and forestry sector”. with the project number DF084.
Now Jiménez León will have 20 business days to appear before the General Directorate of Administrative Responsibilities and thus provide his version of the facts, as well as to receive the corresponding sanctions.

JANUARY 18, 2020 • Baltazar Sánchez, President of the UGRT is arrested and accused of corruption to the detriment of the state treasury.
