New Delhi – Former Haryana cricketer arrested for fraud by impersonation. Mrinank Singh, who was in the under-19 team, was arrested by the Delhi Police. Mrinank, who booked a hotel room in 2022 as an IPL star, drowned without paying. 5, 53,362 was to be paid as rent for staying in the hotel for 7 days. Attempts were then made to contact him and his accomplices but failed. Then the hotel authorities filed a complaint.
Relatives said Mrinank left India and settled in Dubai. With that, a non-bailable warrant was issued. He was arrested on Christmas Day when he arrived at the Delhi International Airport to go to Hong Kong. During the interrogation, he admitted that he had been swindled from many luxury hotels. He was introduced as an IPS officer, an ambassador of international sports brands and a close friend of cricketers and stayed in star hotels.
