Former Hanura Party Chairman Wiranto Discusses 2024 Elections with PPP and Gerindra Party Leaders

Former Chairman of the Hanura Party Wiranto will visit the DPP Office PPP and the house of the general chairman of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto Today discusses the 2024 election.

Wiranto will stop by the PPP headquarters on Jalan Diponegoro, Central Jakarta, at 12.00 WIB. He will propose a number of names to become PPP legislative candidates.

“Pak Wiranto will submit potential names of ex-Hanura to run as candidates in PPP. Later they will be included in the list. long list candidates, both central and provincial,” said PPP DPP Chairman Achmad Baidowi through an official statement, Monday (1/5).

Awiek, his nickname, welcomed Wiranto’s move. According to him, this will strengthen PPP in facing the 2024 Simultaneous Elections.

After leaving PPP, Wiranto will visit Prabowo’s house in Hambalang. The meeting will be held around 16.00 WIB.

“General chairman Prabowo Subianto and the ranks of the Gerindra Party DPP will receive a visit from the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the President of the Republic of Indonesia General TNI (Purn.) Wiranto,” quoted from the invitation for coverage distributed by the Gerindra team.

The specific agenda for Wiranto’s meeting with Prabowo today is unknown.

Previously, it was reported that Wiranto had left the Hanura Party. He has not been active in Hanura for a long time since Oesman Sapta Odang (OSO) led the party.
