The Rooster he won with a goal from striker Paulinho, in the 42nd minute of the second half. Galo leads Group G, with 12 points, followed by Peñarol-URU, with 6; Rosario, with 4; and Caracas-VEN, with 1. Only the top two in the group qualify.

Argentine coach Gabriel Milito’s team will return to the field directly for the Libertadores, at 7pm next Tuesday (14). Galo will visit Peñarol, at the Campeón del Siglo Stadium, in Montevideo, Uruguay, for the fifth and second round of Group G.
