Robert Doornbos and Chantal Bles finally got married on Saturday. Ten years ago, Bles was already asked to marry the former Formula 1 driver, but due to circumstances, a wedding was not yet possible.
The first part of the wedding took place in Amsterdam, the second part will be in Italy later. “It was more emotional than I expected,” Bles told RTL Boulevard after the big day. The two have been in a relationship for twelve years.
The wedding could not take place, among other things, because their daughter Jada got cancer. After her treatment, Doornbos again got down on one knee in front of his girlfriend in 2021. “We are very happy to see her like this today, she is also wearing a beautiful dress,” said Doornbos about his daughter.
