Affected by bone rot
– It was very sad to hear that Peter Antoine passed away. Peter was coach for Mjällby in two rounds and made a positive impression. His charisma and way of building a team spirit, where everyone fought for the club brand, is something that we carried on. He is a coach who has contributed to the history that Mjällby has and for whom we are happy, says Jacob Lennartsson, club manager in Mjällby.
The former football coach has lived in Hällevik for a long time. In 2017, the profile suffered from bone rot. The disease went so far that he was forced to amputate his right leg.
Sportbladet has been in contact with the family, who have given their approval for publication.
