The late former Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Albert F. del Rosario has returned to the Philippines from the United States, according to his family. Del Rosario, who served as foreign affairs secretary from 2011 to 2016, passed away in California at the age of 83. He had been travelling to San Francisco for a private devotion to the Lady of the Miraculous Medal when he passed away from cardiac insufficiency, congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy after suffering a massive heart attack. Del Rosario’s wake will be open to the public at the Chapels of the Santuario de San Antonio in Makati City on Sunday 23 April and Monday 24 April.
