Mechelen actor Danny Riesterer passed away on Thursday. He was 82 years old. Riesterer played in Right to Right on family. This weekend everyone can say their last goodbyes in the municipal morgue of Mechelen.

Danny Riesterer comes from Middelkerke but lived in Mechelen. He passed away on Thursday at the age of 82. In the early 2000s, Riesterer played, among other things, the role of the presiding judge in Right to Right and in 2009 he was a lord of the manor in family. He also had roles in several other television series such as 16+, Home on W817.
Riesterer was also a well-known film and theater actor. For many years he was on stage at the Mechels Miniatuurtheater. The 82-year-old actor was married to composer Stefaan Fernande, who wrote hits for Clouseau, Natalia, Metejoor and recently Camille, among others.
People who want to say goodbye to Danny Riesterer can visit the urban mortuary of Mechelen in Ziekebeemdenstraat this weekend. On Saturdays this is possible from 9 am to 11.30 am and Sunday from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. (svds, svh)
