Second league Tábor has a sports manager. They hired Jakub Grof, a former extra-league defender, for one of the key positions at Jordán. The club informed about it on its website.
“I welcome Jakub to our club and I hope that, thanks to his experience, he will bring to it a further improvement in the quality of coaching work across all categories and help move it towards the goals we have set ourselves,” says Tábor chairman Michal Šušák.

Jakub Grof is a well-known name in the hockey environment. The native of Karlovy Vary played 186 extra league matches, playing for Karlovy Vary or Zlín. He also tried the second highest competition, where he defended the colors of Chomutov and Přerov.
He also got a taste of foreign countries – he gained experience in Italy, Germany or Poland.

After ending his active playing career, Grof smoothly transitioned to coaching, coaching in Přerov and also appeared in Karlovy Vary. In the west of Bohemia, he was even an assistant with the local A team in the 2022/2023 season.
Now a completely new role awaits him in Tábor. “I believe I have something to offer the club. I don’t want to talk here so much about experience, but rather about energy and some ideas that I would like to bring here,” Grof describes on the Tábor website.
