“Former England Coach Paul Collingwood Praises Hardik Pandya Despite IPL Season Struggles”

Gujarat Titans, the defending champions in the IPL, are going ahead with their campaign in a decent manner. Titans are currently in the fourth position with six points with three wins from five matches.

Even when the team is performing well, Hardik Pandya is not able to shine in the role of captain. Hardik Pandya is not able to repeat the feat of making Gujarat champions in the first season of his captaincy in this season.

However, former England superstar and coach Paul Collingwood has praised the star.

Collingwood, who said that Hardik caused a lot of fights and headaches when he was England’s coach, said that Hardik is a player capable of turning any match single-handedly.

‘Hardik Pandya is truly a rock star. He leads the team from the front. He gave me the biggest headache when I was England’s coach against India.

He is the player who can single-handedly change the course of a match. So he is a threat to any team,’ said Collingwood.

But this season the star has not been able to shine as much as he should. So far, the player has scored only 49 runs from the four matches. Hardik’s best score is 28 at an average of 12.25 and a strike rate of 108.89.

The star is not there to shine in bowling either. The player conceded 70 runs after bowling ten overs from four matches. The star managed to get only one wicket.
